Honda decided to build a smaller CR-V, cool; I literally have no problem with this at all. Honda decided to name it HR-V, which I do have a problem with, because it sounds like a debilitating communicable disease. I work in healthcare and we are working feverishly to change the culture of the care giving industry to get away from stuff like this so its not technical, cold, impersonal and frightening. Why can't cars have names?

Honda has been making an HR-V for over a decade, it's just now they are bringing it to 'Murica.
Also, the CR-V is already small I don't get why they are making this here. It's essentially a lifted Fit.

for sustained periods of high rpms discontinue HR-V and seek a physician immediately.

Nothing new about the HRV. Here's the old one:

I actually quite like the way it looks, and that's not something I normally say about a crossover.
Then again, it looks like a Toyota.

Nah, CR-V's a bit bigger than that. This might actually "fix" one of the small "problems" with the Fit, that it's so low. I love it, and it's the most Honda of all current Honda's, but it's awful tough to use as a family car due to the bending over and such required to put something/someone in the back seat.

got no problem with it personally...other than the name. HR-V is such a terrible "name"

It could be worse. It could be an STI.

HR-V? stands for human resources vehicle?
looks about as interesting as someone who is in HR would drive,
as in extremely, extremely boring. it almost looks like a subaru forrester

America is immune to ST-D's though.
